In the third series of Agile Excellence by Care & Growth, Anna takes a deeper look at the Empowerment Model. The Empowerment Model discusses the importance of giving teams the necessary Means and Ability to perform their tasks. What does this mean? This means, providing your team with the tools, resources and authority, the ‘how’ and the ‘why’ to be able to do their job.
Anna also discusses accountability according to the Care & Growth Model. To be able to hold someone accountable, we need a standard. We cannot follow up on someone if it’s not clear what the expectation is. And like with any task that has to be done, mistakes can be made.
