What Is Leadership Excellence?

Effective leadership requires a fundamental shift in the traditional approach to management and has a critical effect on team excellence. The original research conducted by Etsko Schuitema, in the 1980s, demonstrated that effective leadership is essentially tied up with the issue of employee trust in management.

When investigating the conditions of employee trust, Schuitema discovered the two criteria that need to be met in order for employees to trust leadership. These two criteria are Care & Growth™. Employees grant their loyalty, trust, and commitment to leaders who Care sincerely for them and give them an opportunity to Grow. This is the Care & Growth™ leadership model.

 

Care & Growth™ is the price leadership must pay to earn the loyalty, trust, and commitment of their people. At Schuitema Group, we help leaders understand these principles and help them understand how these principles are to be pragmatically applied.

Coaching

By adhering to a formalised coaching process for individuals and/or groups, we are able to work on three levels – addressing immediate concerns, developing competence and finally, transformational change. We coach both individuals and teams based on what your organisation requires.

Consulting
